Bill Hastings B.Arch FRIAI is an architect, a lecturer in the School of Architecture, Landscape and Civil Engineering at UCD, and is accredited as a Conservation Architect, Grade I, by the RIAI. He is the Managing Director of ARC Consultants.

For a number of years, he has been carrying out architectural heritage impact assesment in relation to both public and private development, large and small. This has included the assesment of plans or proposals that might impact on nationally important historic buildings and historic areas, and the assesment of the impacts on heritage of major infrastructure development.
